Freedom Hair was born out of the idea that hair styling and hair care shouldn't be about expense and inconvenience.

The company was launched in 1989 by Darren Williams, a hairdresser who's been in the business long enough to know what does and doesn't work for his clients in terms of styling, products and prices.

Following bouts as a Senior Stylist in top salons, Darren decided to go it alone and offer his services as a mobile stylist to customers at whichever location suited them best - home or work . Several years and hundreds of satisfied clients later, he decided it was time to realise his ambition of creating a company that could continue to deliver the same value for money top-notch services and products - but to more customers. Darren is in the process of establishing a team of stylists that will continue to carry out the good work started by him.

To keep up with the ever changing advances in the industry, Darren attends the annual Salon International show and regularly updates his skills and knowledge with training courses. Darren is also a member of two industry bodies, the Hairdressing Council and the Freelance Hair & Beauty Federation.
